My hand drawn rendering of Florence Price is made with quality graphite pencil on Bristol board paper, 250gms. All hanging hardware is included. The physical texture is smooth. Inspired by lost composers of history. Florence Price was the first African-American woman to have her music performed by a major symphony orchestra. The discovery of dozens of scores in an Illinois attic in 2009 led to renewed interest in the music of Florence Price which, inspired me to create the drawing.
