Stellar Outburst is made with oil on a substrate of canvas. Gallery wrap image. Hanging hardware can be supplied nothing attached at present. The physical texture is visible.
My inspiration came by chance, after reading about stars in the sky. This painting has been a challenge as I have not painting outer space artwork before and the size of the canvas was large against my usual artworks. The most exciting thing was, that I wanted to portray this star that the science community thought it should have died. This star is an intriguing mystery for astronomers, and NASO. This star erupted with a titanic blast 170 years ago in (1849). Light was detected in 2003, something mysterious has changed in the process of the star, and there is not an answer yet.
I hope the viewers will feel a sense of awe when looking at my interpretation of a NASA image in the sky at night and wonder, why is it still there.
