Temple Grandin is an American scientist, academic and animal behaviourist. She is a professor of animal science at Colorado State University USA. As a young woman she was stigmatised and misunderstood she learned to channel her unique gifts into a brilliant career as a scientist, author and groundbreaking animal advocate. Now one of the world’s most celebrated animal scientist who revolutionised our understanding of how animals think and feel. She credited her visualisation abilities with helping her to understand the animals she worked with. She was honored in Time Magazines 2010 “The 100 Most Influential People in the World.” Dr. Temple Grandin has had a major impact on the meat and livestock industries worldwide.
