Drawing on graphite paper.
Original drawing.
Bristol smooth paper. Mechanical pencils KOH-NOOR, Staedtler Mars technico, and TOISON D'OR and Marco Raffine pencils.
The Oryx was widespread in North Africa, however it became extinct, in 2000. The significance of the drawing is that it sheds light on the birth of a new born Oryx, in Dublin Zoo, where they have a conservation breeding programme, which reintroduces the species to semi wild areas in national parks in Tunisia.
The artwork will be shipped with a wood frame, mount and ready to hang in a cardboard box.
